Feline Enrollment Process
To ensure that each Bark-A-Bout guest is healthy and will be happy in our social environment, we require that each pet go through our enrollment process:
Kittens
Boarding at Bark-A-Bout requires that your kitten be at least 4 months old. This precaution is taken due to the increased susceptibility of kittens to disease and as a protection for our older guests.
Requirements:
- Completed Application and Care Form
- Free from parasites (fleas and tics). All cats are inspected upon entry into the facility. If parasites are found, the cat will be flea bathed and dipped at an additional cost.
- Good health: No coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea within 48 hours prior to arrival at the facility
- Signed Client Agreement: Clients will sign a liability waiver and certify that their pet has not harmed, nor shown threatening aggressive behavior toward, any person or animal.
- Signed House Rules agreement.
- Vaccinations: All cats must be current on all the following vaccinations and/or tests:
- Rabies – Current within one year
- FVRCP (Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) – Current within one year
- Feline Leukemia - Test only
Proof of vaccinations will need to be provided to our front desk staff prior to your pet's check-in.
