Indoor Pool
Calling all dog swimmers!
Pools allow for non-weight bearing exercise, thus enhancing range of motion, strengthening, and conditioning without joint stress. This is especially appropriate for animals with arthritic conditions and weight challenges. And, of course, swimming is great for those dogs who love to have fun and play in water.
We have open swim in our indoor warm water pool throughout the day. All swim sessions are supervised by a trained technician. All dogs undergo an initial introductory swim training session in which he/she will be fitted with a harness or life jacket flotation device to ensure safety and be introduced to our pool and equipment. Your dog will be taught how to enter and exit the pool safely. This will also allow us to determine your dog's fitness level so that we can provide the safest, most effective swim therapy/exercise program for your dog.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
Clients are not permitted to be in the aquatic center; so we provide a second story viewing lounge where you can relax, enjoy some refreshments, and view your loved one at play..
