AUSTRALIA’S BUSHFIRE WILDLIFE RELIEF, 2020$360 Raised For Australia’s “Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park” As Wildfires Rage OnThank you to those who donated to Bark-A-Bout’s Australian Bushfire Relief Fund, benefiting Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park! Kangaroo Island is a popular Australian tourist destination and wildlife park off of Australia’s southeast coast. It teams with such biodiversity, that the island has proudly gained itself the reputation as “Little Noah’s Ark”. Sadly, in recent weeks, Kangaroo Island has succumbed to massive bushfire damage, decimating over half of the 1,700-square-mile island. In the past week alone, raging bushfires have undone decades of careful conservation work on Kangaroo Island—and killed and displaced over 3 BILLION Australian-native animals. Tragically, Kangaroo Island is now black and smoldering—a grim scene closely resembling a true apocalypse. Burned animal carcasses litter the shoulders of roads that run across the island’s rugged landscape. |
Please make a lifesaving donation here to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where your vital contribution will provide these emergency crew members and passionate animal caregivers with the funds they need to collect the surviving wildlife and purchase necessary medical supplies and food to nurse them back to health.
Your donation may quite possibly save Australia’s remaining koala population from near extinction.

BARK PINK: PITBULL & BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH FUNDRAISERT-Shirts & Washcloth Dogs Sold During October For “Pit Bull Awareness Month”Almost 2 million pit bulls reside in America. They are clearly the most frequently abused, tortured, abandoned and euthanized breed of dog in the United States. 1 in 4 dogs abandoned at shelters are pit bull mixes, and due to their over-sensationalized negative rap, they are the last to get adopted. So, for most pitties, their ride to a shelter is a one-way trip. Bark-A-Bout raised funds for “C.H.A.I.N.E.D. Inc“, a Metro-Detroit non-profit organization, who helps 24/7 chained dogs get off the chain, one dog at a time. By purchasing a “Washcloth Fundraiser Dog” in Bark-A-Bout’s Pet Boutique. $1 of its’ sale will go to C.H.A.I.N.E.D. Inc and help dogs in desperate need of assistance. “Bark Pink” T-shirts were sold for $19.99, and various Pink and Black chew toys (10% goes to C.H.A.I.N.E.D and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation). |

DONATING POCKET CHANGE SAVES ANIMALS
All proceeds benefited “Faithful Friends Animal Rescue”, a non-profit team of foster families who take in desperate shelter animals with extreme medical conditions or old age. These pets will otherwise be euthanized when the shelter becomes over-crowded. These lucky foster pets receive medical attention and obedience training while their foster families work diligently to find them loving FURever homes.
Faithful Friends Animal Rescue relies 100% on donations from people like you, and by the adoption fees collected at the time of adoption. Please consider making a donation of just a few cents and save the lives of these animals in desperate need of a second chance at life. These animals thank you!
