BARK OF THE MONTH

For about two years now, Wednesdays at Bark-A-Bout have been one of the highlights of the week for Delilah and Douglas! 🧡 These two love coming to see all of their friends, enjoy a fun-filled day, and soak up everything they love about being part of the Bark-A-Bout family.

𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗵 is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, while her little brother 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀 is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. Delilah joined the family as a puppy, and Douglas was adopted from Serenity Animal Hospital when he was about a year old. Ever since, the two have been practically inseparable. 🐶🐶

And when we say they do everything together, we mean 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 — even baths! 🛁😂 If they aren’t put in the tub together, they’ll cry for one another. Talk about best-friend goals!

Delilah is the ultimate cuddle bug and has absolutely no problem planting her entire 95-pound self right in your lap. 🥰 Bedtime is one of her favorite parts of the day because it means she gets to cuddle up with Mom and Dad all night long.

Douglas is all about ear scratches and big hugs, but when nighttime rolls around, he takes on another important role: household security! 🌙🐾 This devoted night owl guards the front door to make sure everyone stays safe — even if that means sounding the alarm when the wind has the audacity to blow at 2 a.m. 😂

They also share their home with two kitty siblings. Douglas loves the cats… Delilah, well, she’s a little less convinced. 😹

Both pups absolutely love being outside, and Douglas would probably live outdoors if his family let him — especially during the winter! These two Great Pyrenees mixes are right at home when the snow starts falling. ❄️🐾

We love getting to spend our Wednesdays with Delilah and Douglas and watching this sweet, silly, inseparable duo enjoy their time at Bark-A-Bout.
