BARK OF THE MONTH

From his very first Meet~N~Greet, Rocky showed us exactly who he is: friendly, charming, chipper, playful, polite, patient, and very sweet. He loves running and exploring the play yards, playing follow the leader with the handlers, wrestling with his fur’ends, sun-bathing, staying cool in the warehouse, and soaking up all the human attention he can get. Basically, if there are friends to play with, handlers to follow, or pets to be given… Rocky is all in.

Rocky was adopted on May 18, 2019 from the Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society at the “𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱” 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 at the Detroit Zoo. His age was estimated to be around 6 months old at the time, and from the moment his family met him, he filled their hearts with joy. His family had been looking to fill the void left by their previous dog, Bleu, who was also a Bark of the Month recipient, and Rocky has been bringing sunshine into their lives ever since.

Rocky is also quite the fine-dining gentleman. He serves as the top food critic of the household and patiently waits while mom cooks her specialty chicken and pork chops. We have a feeling he gives both dishes a perfect 10/10 paws.
