BARK OF THE MONTH
𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗦, 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸-𝗔-𝗕𝗼𝘂𝘁’𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 “𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵”! Say hello to 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻, our 5-year old spirited and snuggly Yorkie Mix who’s been lighting up Bark-A-Bout since April, 2022! Adopted in May, 2019 at just 8 weeks old from the “Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo” event, Kylo has grown into a beloved and undeniably spoiled only child—𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘺!
Kylo is 10 pounds of personality, packed with equal parts energy and attitude. He lives for agility Enrichment sessions, where he burns off his boundless energy, and for cozy snuggle time with his favorite coaches and family.
At home, Kylo has a favorite hangout spot: nestled between his parents’ legs on the couch. If their legs aren’t positioned exactly to his liking, Kylo isn’t shy about swatting and barking until things are just right—because when Kylo is ready to cuddle, he means business!
At home, Kylo’s antics are simply entertaining. His favorite game, “bring it back,” is his own twist on fetch, which he mastered just before turning 12 weeks old. He’s also a connoisseur of fine snacks, with lobster topping his list of indulgences. While he’s only had it a few times, just mentioning the word perks him right up! His everyday favorite, though, is Romaine lettuce, especially the giant leaves that he proudly parades around like trophies before munching them down.
Kylo’s charm isn’t without a touch of mischief. On his first days in our Tiny Town, Kylo pulled off an unforgettable prank: he waited for the perfect moment to knock down a clipboard, then scampered off to watch another pup take the blame. (Yes, mom and dad caught it on camera—and we’re still laughing about it!)
Kylo loves spending time with his best buddies Cooper and Willow. But no matter where his adventures take him, Kylo’s heart always belongs to his trusty hot dog-shaped toy—of which he has several backups, just in case.
Kylo, you’re a tiny tornado of fun, love, and sass, and we couldn’t imagine our Enrichment Program without you. Let’s give three cheers for our Bark of the Month, Kylo Larkin! 🧡🐶
