BARK OF THE MONTH

Meet Willow, a 5-year-and-9-month-old Dachshund Mix who has been part of the Bark-A-Bout family since she was just under 6 months old! From tiny puppy paws to the sweet, sunbathing girl she is today, Willow has been charming us with her gentle, watchful personality for years. 

From her very first day at Bark-A-Bout, Willow showed us her signature style: calm, good-natured, quiet, patient, adorable, and a little shy while she took everything in. She loved leisurely sniffing the play yards, exploring at her own pace, observing the group, and getting comfortable in true Willow fashion.

Once she settled in, her tail came up, the wags came out, and she even made a few new fur’ends along the way. Willow may not be the wildest pup on the playfloor, but she knows exactly how to enjoy her day: sniffing, sunning, checking things out, collecting pets, and happily accepting treats whenever possible.

At Bark-A-Bout, Willow is all about the simple joys — gentle attention from her trainers, tasty treats, and a good place to relax after a little exploring. She has a sweet, easygoing way about her that makes her so lovable to everyone who gets to spend time with her.

At home, Willow is a professional sunbather, snack enthusiast, and dog-bed expert. She loves lounging in her many beds, chewing on those same beds when the mood strikes, and keeping a close eye on the front door for people and the back door for birds and squirrels.

Willow joined her family as a puppy and has been loved ever since. She has a sister named Emmy, who lives with her grandparents, loves trips to Grandma’s house, and has excellent taste in snacks — especially salami and cheese. Her favorite toy is her red devil furry friend, and one of her funniest little habits is howling along whenever she hears an ambulance.

Willow, we are so lucky to have your sweet, sniffy, sun-loving self as part of the Bark-A-Bout family. You’ve been making our days brighter since puppyhood, and we love celebrating you as 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆’𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!
