This December, we honor a boy whose presence filled every room, every yard, and every heart he ever met โ our beloved ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ, affectionately known as ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฆ. Though he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge
, his spirit continues to live on in the memories, laughter, and love he shared with all of us here at Bark-A-Bout.

Born in October of 2015, Saddler was a one-of-a-kind Pit Bull Terrier and Basset Hound mix who won his family over when they adopted him at just 8 months old. With his sturdy build, soulful eyes, and irresistibly goofy charm, he became the center of his familyโs world โ and Jack the catโs favorite playmate. The two of them shared countless games of chase and a bond that made their home complete.
Saddie lived life the way we all wish we could: boldly, sweetly, and always with joy. He loved walks, water (especially hoses and sprinklers), belly rubs, and long, luxurious naps across heat vents, under desks, or on Momโs feet. He knew exactly when the peanut butter jar opened, when popcorn was being made, and โ without fail โ when it was Thursday, his cherished daycare day at Bark-A-Bout. For years, his handlers often had to trick himโor carry all 77 pounds of himโout to the lobby because he simply never wanted to leave.
During his decade with us, Saddler became a true Bark-A-Bout legend. Indoors, he was a nap connoisseur. Outdoors, he came alive โ splashing in the bone pool
, sniffing every inch of the yards, and proudly trotting around with two tennis balls shoved in his mouth (a signature Saddler move weโll never forget). He loved bubbles, bones, pig ears, and any human who had a hand free for pets or a treat to spare.

He wasnโt always the easiest boy, but he was always worth it. Behind his mischief was a heart overflowing with love, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the people who loved him back.
Saddler, thank you for every tail wag, every laugh, every memory, and every moment you shared with us. You gave us so much joy. We miss you deeply, and we celebrate you proudly as our ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต.
